  • Consumers making a mobile payment at least once a week increased to 58% in the first half of 2022, compared with 46% in the same period in 2021, according to ACI Worldwide Inc.’s latest 2022 ACI Speedpay Pulse survey.
  • E-commerce specialist Signifyd said a survey it commissioned found that 66% of respondents cut back their spending because of inflation and that 62% expect to curtail their purchases for the remainder of the year.
  • Payments provider Usio Inc. said it processed $2.4 billion in the second quarter, up 2% from the first quarter of 2022.
  • Banking-technology provider Jack Henry & Associates Inc. said it is working with Victor Technologies Inc., a unit of MVB Bank, to support MVB’s move to real-time payments on The Clearing House Payments Co.’s RTP network.
  • OpenTable Inc., whose app allows users to reserve tables at restaurants and pay for meals, said it has agreed to be the preferred restaurant-technology provider for Marriott International. The company’s app already works with more than 1.400 restaurants managed by Marriott hotels worldwide.
  • Payments provider Fortis has agreed to work with Everyware, a payments-technology provider, to provide a wider range of digital-payments options for Fortis clients and to offer access to Fortis’s commerce platform to Everyware’s customers. Fortis, in December, acquired VIP Integrated Payments.
  • Factor4 LLC, a gift card and loyalty provider, said it completed an integration with Ovvi, a software developer specializing in the restaurant, hospitality, and retail industries.
  • The big processor FIS Inc. said its Worldpay merchant-processing unit has expanded its services to South Korea.
  • A Bakkt Holding Inc. survey in June and July of 1,018 gig workers across the United States indicates 38% would be open to receiving their pay in cryptocurrency, while half said they’d be open to that option if a portion of their pay was paid in crypto. Bakkt Holdings is a digital-asset platform.
  • RocketFuel Blockchain Inc. announced the launch of a new business-to-business cross-border settlement service, which relies on settlement via stablecoins.
